Sorry Mike,
It takes some huge gonads to drive in and load up a large plane. A pilot or two have written in where their planes and truck or van were stolen from a motel; but to do this in daylight with pilots around.

It seam like lately there have been alot of airplanes stolen in the tri state area. We just had a electric foamy stolen from are meet in Napoleon Ohio. It was built by Edy Noble from Nakitis Aircraft. If you know what those airplanes look like keep an eye out for one. Maybe ask some Q's. If that person, would not usually have something like that.

there s no way to know how they did it the field was searched and no tracks were found no obvious clues and the poeple in charge of security did check on the field at 11 pm 130 am and 530 am and the saw nothing going on
there were 2 locked gate s to the field so it wasnt easy to get to the planes

Find the common denominator. Was the security done by your own people or not? No tracks, no witnesses, security around, etc etc. All sounds a little fishy to me. Sounds like an inside job. Is there someone that is always "eager" to lend a hand security wise at each event?

the guy in charge of security is very trusted by me and there where no eager beavers for the security thing he was chosen because he was gonna be camping there the hole night any way and what little security there was i now know to be very insufficient

Another thought here, why to begin with was a plane or planes left at the field...and, i would think that it would have to have been people that were around before everyone left that kind of had an idea that plane/planes were going to be left for them to come back to......is this the location of the new field out at the landfill ? If it is ive been there once a year or so ago, and it seemed kind of back and out of the way from everything, not like its in town, its kind of out of site and out of mind, an out of the way place. So it would almost make me think that it was someone around that seen and knew that stuff was going to be left to begin with. Id have an awfully hard time going off and leaving my stuff setting somewhere to where i wasnt going to be around it close.

Dan you have good points

first there was security there there where many other planes that were not stolen but mine and my friends where the furthest away and in hindsight the easiest to get to our planes where also the only ones enclosed in a structure i was the last to leave the field that night and locked the gates i thought that there was no way the planes or anything for that matter could have been tampered with or stolen believe me that i kick my self all day every day for making that assumption

WOW you all just giving away planes in KY ?

Let me know if you all are leaving the flying field again and leaving your planes there, I will rent a uhaul and help you all out.

How could anybody walk off with a plane, I think there is more to the story than what we were told in the first message.

Have you ever heard of that expression, "Here's Your Sign" ?

Sorry to hear about your plane getting lifted though, thats not right.

Definitly has to be an inside job.
