Status: offline 		The materials list for this kit indicates one 12 in. piece of 1/4 in. x 1/2 in. balsa. Per the plans this is used on the rudder trailing edge and the full 12 in. length is needed. The instructions indicate to cut two 2 in. pieces of 1/4 x 1/2 balsa for the throttle servo support in the wing. By doing this there isn't enough of the 1/4 x 1/2 for the rudder TE. Is this correct?

Based on the picture in the instructions it appears the TE is 1/4 sq.

Status: offline 		The 12 inch piece is for the rudder te. If you put the throttle servo in the wing it's best to add some 1/4 x 1/2 balsa between the ribs for support. You're the first guy to mention this and I checked and looks like I never included those two short pieces. Most folks are using a mini servo mounted in the nose for the throttle these days so I guess I overlooked that during one of the recent kit revisions.
