Hi!

I bought the fuel on the attached image, and when I try to start the car, it is as if the piston is not lubricated enough. Before I try to start again, I wanted to make sure the fuel is either ok or not ok.

The text says "Model Technics - Molecular Blended Fuel - with 15% ML70 - GoGlo 16"

DonKraft,

Personally we have never heard of that fuel. Do you know what that particular fuel was meant for? Does it tell you the % of oil content? I believe that that fuel is meant for general purpose model engine use... which will run.. however not at the best performance level. I would recommend that you find a fuel that is directly related to nitro car use.

Regards,

It is intended for RC airplanes, but the salesman said they sold loads of it for RC cars as well.

After you wrote it would run on it, I went out and ran about a tank of the fuel, and it seemed to run fine. I have emailed the company which sold it to me, and asked how much oil is in it, perhaps I'll get a reply tomorrow.

I have a CEN ATX and use Trinity Monster Horse Power 20% stuff. It's awesome! My mate ran a quart of the model technic stuff through his Picco .26 savage and he will never touch that it again. Trinity or HPI is the best way to go.
