I'am new to electric cars and was wondering whats faster 20T motor or 27T motor. my local club has a leagal 27 turn motor class and i have a 20 T motor so have to change.

Technically a 20T should be faster than a 27t. However, some of the 20t that come with ready to runs are not very good motors. You may find a good 27t such as Trinity p2k2 pro or Monster Stock may actually be faster. What kind of vehicle do you have?

hpi sprint and i'am going to put a B.R.C.A leagal motor in so i can race.
I have an Associated 20T motor at the moment if the 27T motor is faster will I need to change my speed control?

If you have the instructions to your car look under esc it should say what motors it can handle
It should handle 27t stock most esc will

Check with your local club to see the most popular 27t. You might even pick up a good used one for 10-15 bux

every motor that I have ever bought, is different if you realy want a good motor the one mentioned are a good start, save up fpr a dyno well worth it, after I got one I started winning!!! have fun!!!
