hey guys,

i got an easy sport by great planes for my 2nd plane and im about to retire it for a while
it was an awesome 2nd plane i could do way more stuff with this plane.
it flies awesome with a 46. i have a Thunder Tiger 46 on it and its flies awesome even at 7000' ASL.

so if you guys are in the market for a 2nd plane i highly recommend the easy sport. Im sure there are many other out there but
i know this one is a winner because of my experience with it

ok heres some pics : (yes i know they are bad but hey)

ok thats it

Hey, great pix! I love Tigger in the canopy! My dad put one of these together and took a radio hit and down it went. (That's always a good excuse right?) NEway, he, myself and my brother are all fairly new to the hobby (started this year) and I have been flying nothing but a trainer and a Sig Kadet Sr. Got it mastered now and am about to upgrade to a stick. NEway, I did maiden my dad's easy sport and wow, what a handful. That is a HOT plane! I loved it! And fast, gawsh was it fast! My dad will rebuild it and it will fly again, but for now, it's on the rack. Just wanted to agree with you that this is a great plane and lots of fun!

If you have the rates turned down its not a handful.
i thought it was easier to fly than my trainer.

In many respects, an intermediate plane IS easier to fly than a trainer. In fact, I usually recommend an intermediate plane to my students. But while they are easier, they are also less forgiving, and the novice must be made aware of this.

That said, the GP Easy Sport IS an excellent craft.

$69.99 for a World Models "Skyraider Mach-2"

The perfect 2nd plane. On low rate it is a BREEZE to fly and with the rates turn WAY up it moves and grooves very well. I have one and my roomate also has one. He has just started flying his and love's it so much over his Lanier Explorer 40 which by the way is a crappy plane and is to be avoided.

Anyway for the money it rocks and I would of paid much more for it.

Yes it isn't much of a looker at all though.

Dave

I would like a mid wing plane and I am sure like you all say this one flies great. But it is so dang ugly. If the lines were a bit smoother I think I would probably get one.

The easy sport is a very good looking plane. I think when dad rebuild's his, I'll take the throws down a bit and try to make it a little less "hot"
