I think the 110-size is great. The new line will be 63, 91, 110, 140. The 91 will still be produced for a while, but the 120 is discontinued. Now we have a "bored-out" YS in 60, 90, and 120 class. My guess why the 110 is made is because the 90-4C class is by far the most popular pattern/sport class in Japan and Asia. If you look at MK line (Wildbeat 90, SuperVR 90, 3D Dancer) , Kyosho (G-Trick, Sonic), Hirobo (Stream 90), JR (Explorer 90), Stage 90 and many others, you get the idea that most popular entry level practice planes are in 90-class. The old standard setup on 90-class ships was with 91AC/FZ, but since freestyle flying came, we need more power and hence the bored-out 110. I'm just amazed at the weight saving vs old 91- Almost 100 grams. That's really awesome power to weight ratio! : According to the website the largest possible bore-out of the 91 is actually 120, but they made it only 110 due to overheating/longitivity considerations. javven I don't quite get your message? All YS-4Cs are "supercharged", except the 140DZ. They don't use a roots blower like the OS-120SC, they use crankcase pressure pressurize the tank. The "lunch box" on the 91/110 is the air chamber as Ed mentioned. The 91 is the only one left with this design, others like the 120 migrated to utilize the rocker arm chamber to save weight of the box. For me, the "lunchbox" just looks so cool. It's really not much weight, the old 120AC (air chamber) was 1050g, the 120NC (no chamber) was 980g. And yes they can do without it but there goes the cool factor for me. I'm actually glad the 110 has it! Thinking about it, YS is getting good at weight savings - the 120AC is 1050g, the new 110FZ (w/chamber) is only 665g , maybe they're getting this "boreout" idea from Saito? : : Matt
