The truck next to the buggy in the pics that TNB posted is a Mini-Monster // Leo-X // VMG Clone
Here is a video showing it:

Very cool and durable truck.

I'm with study, the A techs can take a beating. Looks big in the pictures until they show it next to that XXX-4 looking buggy. I wonder if you could just mount a 1/16 buggy body on the RC18T? That would be pretty cool. But I'd still rather have a whole other car to play with

Once and while you see them on EBay. Not often though.

Very cool - I really like the looks and all of the Kyosho. Wonder who will carry it and for how much. I can't wait to see how much the A-Tech goes for and when it will be released.

Currently in the USA, Hobbico/Tower/Great Plains distributes Kyosho products, so you may want to check their website for more information. They currently list the 1/8th scale for $399.99 and since 1/2 of that is $200.00.... Who knows, I was just trying to make a joke since Tower doesn't appear to have any information on the mini-buggy posted yet which doesn't surprise me. Remember that PM from October 2004--didn't I mention 2d Quarter?

Well I have to go run R/Cs now. Later.

"In the US?" Hobbico/Great Planes/Tower is the current US distributor for Kyosho. In other words, you'll probably have to purchase the Kyosho Half8 from OCONUS or from someone who has purchased it from overseas if you don't want to wait for Tower.

Meanwhile, enjoy the "real" thing--I took the following photo at Silver State 2005.

And in case anyone missed it:
