Yea thats not a bad deal. Also, look on E-Bay. You can find the CT4S at farly reasonable prices. But really look out for the shipping cast. You shouldn't have to pay more than $40 for shipping. You will also want to invest in a fail safe. I have the Venom Fail Safe and I am not having any problems with it. The Fail Safe will help save your investment from running away.

Does anyone know how much of an increase of power you get when you mount a supercharger in your car? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Sam

In all honestly, it's pretty pointless putting a supercharger on a 2 stroke. You don't get any gain since the ports are open all the time. I wouldn't even think about buying RB Innovations kit unless they had it adapted for use on a 4-stroke.

Superchargers are a waste of money. So are the K&N filters. You are going to get more air flow in a Motor Saver filter compared to a K&N air filter. Foam catches more dirt compared to oil wetted gauze. When that gauze gets dirt particles in it, its ability to deliver clean air or any air is dropped drastically. Foam holds up!

It has been a proven fact that superchargers on an engine THIS small is impossible to get a gain of efficient power. Maybe on a bigger engine, like a snowmobile. Arctic cat has a turbo'd snowmobile, i cant remember if it was a thumper or not (4 stroke).

Did anybody get the December 2004, issue #12, of RC Driver? On page 148 to 151 talks about the MPPA Supercharger. This one is the electric Supercharger. This artical shows an increase in HP, Torque and RPMs. So you can Supercharge a Nitro two-strock engine. I will try and get this artical scaned and posted. You can check out their site at www.mppa.biz

superchargers dont work on 1/10th 2 stoke engines because the intake and outake and open at the same time meaning the extra fuel chucked in by the supercharger will just go straight through

I've heard of the new MPPA Supercharger. Personally I think it's a great idea. It would work really good with a 4-stroke engine. Although there can be some complications with forced induction and 4-strokes that aren't designed for it. Biggest issue to me would be engine wear.

As for applying it to 2-strokes, i'd have to see a dyno sheet of before and after before i'm convinced.

don't think of the supercharger building boost like in a fullsize car.....just imagine that instead of the motor "sucking" it is getting fed fuel and air as fast as it can burn it.....the motor's intake is 0psi, unlike a stock nitro motor that is more like -1 or -2 psi
