I was always a fan of Hobby Poxy II glue and an about out. What epoxy glue has the same properties of strength, flexibiltiy, and durability?

Thanks in advance.

Try West coast Systems Epoxy glues and laminating systems. Really the best that your money can buy. They do advertise in the mags and if you do a google you'll get their web site. Dennis

I've been upset about the lack of HobbyPoxy Formula II as well. I did some study on the Pettit web site, and it looks like they still sell it - only it's just marketed for boats:

http://www.pettitpaint.com/products2.asp?Productid=60&Catid=3&SubCatid=10

It's called 7035/7040 PolyPoxy Glue. It sure looks like the same stuff. Maybe somebody will go to a marine store and tell us about it.

Thank you for finding this. There is no data shown on this glue, but it does look like it. Now, any ideas on how to buy it and where?

System three clear coat works well, it thins nicely with denatured alcohol and sands well. Cure time is about 3-4 hours. Perfect for fiberglassing. I have used it with success on a couple different projects.

See: http://www.nelsonhobby.com/epoxies.html

If strength in a wood epoxy is needed, there is nothing better than T88. Full scale kit builders swear by it. It sands good too.

Some online wood working stores carry these glues.

Poly poxy glue is the same as Hobby poxy II. However I have not found it available.

I also found a few gallons of poly poxy paint both white and clear with hardener, I bought it.
