I was not happy w/ my Enya 1.55R. Even after 1.5 gallons it would surge in the air, and had a super sensitive response to main needle valve setting. One or two clicks and it would go from over rich to over lean. That was w/ stock plug , 15% nitro fuel and APC 16X8 prop. Engine would also leak oil from front bearing like crazy. Stock muffler did not muffle - damn thing was LOUD.

Sent it back to MRC, they replaced main NV assembly and front bearing under warrantee, but I then sold it w/out ever having run the repaired engine, so my experience w/ the product is limited. I have, on the other hand, 2 Saitos 150 that once broken in, have provided me several hundred trouble-free flights. If selecting a 150 size 4-stroke, I'd recommend the Saito.

For a 20 lbs non-aerobatric scale plane (ex Cub, PT19, Stearman, etc), I would suggest a 40 to 50 cc gasser or a Moki 1.8 or 2.1 in glow or the OS300 (if price is not a factor!)

Hello! Thanks for the insight on the 155R, I am always a little skeptatcle when they take a nice running engine like the 120R and alter it to a hybrid.Your advice has been valuable. Thanks again Ron

Zoo, I'm disappointed, you caved in too easily.
