I've ask this once before and I'm trying again. I'm calling on some of you older RC buffs like myself. I bought a plane from a guy in our local club who got it from somebody somewhere that was selling out and it's called a "Corvette". Box type fues like an old KAOS. I now have the blue print but its tore up where all the info is but I can see that it was Designed by Dennis Dean and it was manufactured in Edinburg, IL. Wing Span: 71 in., Wing Area: 850 sq. in., Overall Length: 64 ", Weight; 7 LB., Engine: .60 (2 Cycle) .60-.91 (4 Cycle). What I am looking for is some pics of this plane and someone who has flown it before. If anyone has a Website or any info on this plane I'd be very thankful.

Really? I know a couple people who have had these. One guy at my club bought one, fully built and flown by another fellow who had eye trouble & quit the hobby. He recovered it and flew it about 160 flights, practicing pattern maneuvers and such. On about flight #168, he was doing rolling circles, nice & gentle & slow, and the wing separated at the joiner. The wreckage showed that there was no spar joiner. The only thing taking the loads was the sheeting, which was 'glassed top & bottom. The top 'glas worked loose from the sheeting, and that's when the wing separated.

So, if it don't have a wing joiner, make one! Hey, they still kit those planes from time to time. I'll see if I can get one of the guys to respond here.

Good luck,
Dave Olson
