Just curious. The quality is really nice on all those jet pics you posted so far. Curious if you are using a digital camera or scanning in photos?

Take the vote.

I actually use both, some of the older pics are scanned, my work has a digicam that works great for me

I like using the digicam better, its faster and dont have to have film developed.

Same as John. I use the scanner on the old pic's and a digital on the new ones. All I have posted to this list so far are scanned.

Anybody like to comment on the digital camera they are using. I am in the market to buy a digital camera and was looking for some 'real world' feedback from other camera owners.

I am currently looking at the Canon S110 or S300.

Any comments?

Well my PIC’S are shot with a Cannon Elph camera. Then the film is taken to K-mart and when you check a square on the Kodak film processing envelope they digitize the PIC’S and send them to AOL's "You've got Pictures system" they are imported automatically for you into your Picture portfolio. Getting a new Megapixel digital Camera soon, a Cannon S110, Santa's going to bring it.

I was also considering the Canon S110. My friend has the S100 and it's really nice. The little Canon Elph S110 has gotten some of the top reviews it seems in the pc mags. Best bang for the buck all around with the best image quality in it's class.

I have a Sony Mavica FD-91. Simple to operate, take the pic, remove the 3.5, pop it in the the computer and attach to an e-mail. The pic is ready to go. I own the Sony CD-1000 too but still like the older FD-91.

I used a Fuji DX-9.

I must admit, it's not mine but I can get it practically when I want. So, as long as my friend is gracious enough to let me borrow it, I will.

I am using a scanner for old PICS also but I have a Olympus D-490 digital camera that i have had for about a year and I love this thing. It is a 2.1 Megapixel and has a 3X Zoom and can even make Quicktime movies at the feild for uploading to the web.
Check into the OLYMPUS, i think its worth the money, it does about anything you want it too.

I have a Kodak 210 and the quality isn't that great. My neighbor has the "Fuji 2600" for about $200 on the net and it takes a GREAT picture. I'd post one here, but he had it set to take night shots and the color wasn't right on it. But he had some pictures of it and it's really nice. Probably get one for Christmas.

I have an HP 5370 scanner and the scans of the pictures come out really nice.
