I hate when the neighbour hood kids try to chase my nitro truck down the road. And i always get asked y i am putting batteries in it if it runs on nitro. O and another is Does it have NOS? Also this is not a saying but one time a bunch of kids about 10 or 12 thought it would be great to race my truck on the track and hit the jumps.

I hate it when I start talking about learning to fly my new rc airplane and my Dad inturups me and says "don't be sorry when you crash"

Airplane/Helicopter Questions

Question:How fast can it go?
Answer: Start running and we will find out.

Question: Have you ever put missles/bombs on it?
Answer: Yeah....kid-seekers

Question: Lemme fly it!
Answer: Ok, you give me 800 bucks, and if you dont crash it Ill give it back..If you do crash it, I keep the 800 bucks. (Oddly enough, Ive never had anyone take me up on that offer)

Question: I can fly that, thats easy.
Answer : Great, go buy one and come out and fly with me.

Question: Can you crash it?
Answer: Go stand out there and see if you can catch it before it crashes.

But the thing that really ticks me off....

Is when someone says "Ya gonna go crash it again." I just want to choke the living .... out of them.
The last person that said that....I told him "unless you want to wear this airplane as a hat, shut the .... up."

I don't know about you guys, but newbies don't bother me, I have a "newbie" setting stored in my model memory with limited throttle etc for my cars. When the newb's start to ask questions, I flick the TX into newbie mode and hand it over...

However I don't appreciate them touching things, but it's always amusing when they touch the engine or exhaust, they quickly get the idea that you don't touch another man's toys...

I'm fine with stupid questions or people gathering around. But when people start bashing on whatever I'm doing I get irritated. Usually happens from junior high kids. I'll sit down and talk to someone about the hobby for hours if they want.

i dont mind the questions i mean im 16 in my second last year of high school it wasent too long ago that was me asking every stupid question expecting an anser. when ever im running my savage and somone asks me if they can try it i say but then i go and get my electric on road thats not paticullarly fast or anything people see how fast it is compaired to my savage and usually leave me be, but once in a while if I'm running in parkin lot or somthing a little kid see's it and wanders over with there parent to watch it makes little kids so happy that i let them try out the car they try to convince there parents to go buy them one, plus your helping somone who might end up really enjoying the hobby if not it only costs a charge on the battery pack and some wear on the tires.

Most annoying saying?

"No, it's still not arrived..." - the lhs guy referring to a critical part for my MGT tranny which was ordered two months ago.

And of course "can i have a go", "i have one which is faster...", "how much did it cost?", "where did you buy it from?" etc etc.

out of curiosity, can you name one

conquered,been conquered, or both ?
History is rife with all of the above.
