Yes. The video is right in your face.. You wuld think you are actually flying from inside the plane.....

Later that day, I flew and let the crowd pass around the goggles. One older gentlman said "I always wanted to fly like a bird, and this is just like it! WOW! I cant believe it! I'm Flying!" heh heh It was a good moment...

With those glasses you should do some crazy stuff like when there is a bunch of people at your flying field.
Stop about 1 mile away from the field, You would be way to far away for any one to see you but fly your plane to the field and do some low passes and freak those guys out.....They would be like "You Hear that... What is that... ITS A PLANE!!.... WHAT THE HELL!!!... WHO'S FLYING THAT THING!!!......WHERE did it Come FROM!!....."

that would be something to see...........

Does it hook directly to the reciever or can you use a patch cord? If I can use a patch cord I can put the antenna on my TX tray and it would always face the right way.

Mine uses a small patch cord. Direct to the rx works better ( lower signal loss) but there is no reason you cant remote it a few feet. The rx are so small, you could wear a fanny pack or backpack with everything in it.

@topgunner, that would be great except I would have to know what channels were in use so I did not bring any anyone out of the air...!

It was a good thought, and I agree it would be funny as heck... You would even be able to buzz them and see the looks on their faces then watch it later on video..!!

Hmmmm....
Maybe next time I go to the field, I'll keep the freq pin, dirve down the road a bit, and give it a try!!! heh heh
