nothing wrong with the buggy. It's not dialed in for racing yet. As you can see most of the footage I have with the buggy is jumping. To be honest the shock oil is a little thin for that track. The weight isnt an issue as all buggies get thrown around on our track.

Though ive got an xray spec leaflet tht says the weight is 3350g i dont know if thats an estimate of the total weight or just the chassis but it would make more sense to me if it was the total the first weight i got was posted by a guy who recently built and weighed one

no stay ewith the xb8 you just might need to get some light springs (kyosho blue) and it wont bounce around and some thin weight oil....

think of the pluss of lighter... less hard landings.. faster takeoff.. less breaking (in theory lol)

350 says the 777 handles way better out of the box but i suppose its really down to the person, their ability and their knowledge, right???

well after going crazy and reading everything on the xb8 i could ive decided to stay w/ the X and go w/ something different. in order for it to be proven you have to run it. thats just like the V-SPEC i was one of the first people to get it in the states and i dont regret it one bit. the beast is over 2gal and still running strong. THANKS FOR THE INPUT!

I have been reading alot of stuff on the XB8 too, I have one on the way from full throttle as well. There is negative and positive with every buggy out there...period. Some people will not like the Xb8 at all and others will love it---to me the only way to know is buy the top 3 contenders and see what one you like the best and sale the rest, Easy said than done huh......

All of us XB8 owners will get some run time, setups will be all over then chat boards for us to try and we will be dialed in to any track just like other buggies. Its new and will have a few growing pains but it will be nice, dont worry about that. Look how easy it is to adjust everything on this buggy withen minutes without taking it all apart---we can try differant setups each lap if we want with minimal down time. The only hard change on it is to fill the shocks with differant weight oil

grahma i think you should try the opposite setup medium springs and like 60weight oil. running white springs with 10weight oil will make it like a bucking horse.
