Hi shell shocked
How do you get the carbon fibre on the body? is it stuck on or what?
Your bodies are AWESEOME. All I can say is if, have the talent and gift, use it while u can. Im in South Africa. We have a R/C site here called www.rchq.co.za
Its fairly small but lots of fun.

Thanks

No stickers on the vectra its all painted. as is the micro shell (except for the shell-shocked logo)
only window surrounds and headlight stickers on the mx1 shell also.

the carbon fibre is very easy have a look at this site to tell you how.
http://www.rctech.net/articles/painting_hauntedmyst3.shtml

very good guides on how to acheive certain effects. carbon fibre about 2/3 down the page

theres always one isnt there.
I know what you mean though the camera picks the edges up on the shell-shocked logo but the naked eye does not pick it up so easy.

If trimming decals is the biggest problem for a painter then he should consider himself lucky

i am not saying i dont apreciatte it. personally i wish i could paint like that. but because my bodies dont have a lot of paint detail, i try to make them look as real as possible. i am defintly not one a dem.
