Nice shells. I'm amazed that youspray all the lights yourself.

Would you mind telling me were you get your supplies from. My LHS is useless for paints and the like. Even if I ask them for specific stuff.

I have ordered from the SpazStix UK site and was very happy with those paints (will post a pic of mylatest effort when i get home) but i want to try other paints and that vinyl mask looks to be very effective

I use a couple of suppliers depending on what i need and who has it in stock.
Spaz-stix uk as you mentioned is a very good service the shell in post #125 is for Paul who runs the UK spaz-stix site.
the rest of the paint (pactra racing finish laquers) i buy from 2 local stores, PL modelsport in winsford, and steve webb models in frodsham,
if they are out of what i need or i cant get to the stores i use www.modelsport.co.uk.

for thinners i use cellulose thinners from wilkinsons (general high st store)

Hi Ste,

I'll get some photos of the bodyshell for ya, especially with the lights and grill looking amazing, and it always looks better without window masking on there.
Still havent got round to mounting the shell, thats a job for this week, along with figuring out the best way to reduce the rear wing without it costing me too much on downforce.

How's the B4 shell getting on? Thats going to be a case of mounting it on the Saturday morning of racing, the kit is currently with a mate who's getting it all setup for me, wont see them till the morning of the action, got from 6am till about 8am to sort stuff like that and the electrics out, so shouldnt be a problem.
Gonna have to get a photo of the 2 shells together on the saturday night, the Mazda will be used on Sunday for the first time and it'd be nice to get a pic of the Mazda without scuff marks on it, so it'd need to be the Saturday night or sometime on Sunday before TORC kicks off.

Paul

Damn forum! Gonna have to praise you all over again cos it didnt work last time!

Great job Ste!
Cant wait to see it myself.

Have you painted the wing yet?
Not sure what colour i'd want it painted at the moment, 50% of me says Clear, 50% of me says White, and the 50% of me that cant add says Blue!
If its clear, i'll see how it looks when it gets here, prolly go with White. If its already painted, then i'll probably go with your colour

Someone give this guy something tricky, its been a walk in the park for him so far!

Paul

hurrah, only took about 6 attempts to get that onto the forum, lovely error message though:

"1/5/05 - If you get this page right after posting see resolution #3 at the bottom of this page which should fix the problem easily for those affected"
Sadly neglects to include resolution #3 on its lists of things to do!
Thankfully Opera seems to be working ok, IE was fine this lunchtime but not anymore :S
