sorry dude,

you are rite about the example in the manual i think that is something that CEN should look at but there are 4 screw in the cluch the ones that need to be ajusted are the ones that are angled 1 is silver and one is black how long have you had the car ?? is it fully run in and tuned properly ?? last i found that i had to turn mine out more like 8 1/2 turns to get it to cut in, I also went a xtra 1/2 turn on second gear dont know if that did anything ??
anyways i hope this can be of some help to you micheal.

Tanks powerslave

thats what i was saying the exaple in the manual is incorrect and needs to be corrtected by CEN as shown in pic 17 there are only 2 screws but in actual fact there are MORE, The other thing is that in the pic they have the 2 screws going strait into the shoes which is also incorrect they are actually angle !! truust me there are more then 2 screws as the first time i tryed to ajust that gear i made the mistake of loosening the grub screw and that forced the cluch shoes to lock on .

**the 2 that NEED to be ajusted are the ones in the cavity and angled at 45" one is silver and one is black these are the ones needed to be looseded and also make sure you losen them as even as possible**

Hey powerslave

and tankyou for what you have told me ontil now, but i dont think that after deep deep thinking its my gear thats it is wrong whit , but my rpm , so im working on that now, the thingking let me to belive this because it is the aksel (GS062) where the clutch is on that are turning and not the gear (GS052), the gear that are turning the aksel is (GS085) so you can see the faster the (GS085) is turning the more likely the clutch will activate the gear (GS051).
I got my car i august soo i is almost new, and i love, i like it, is fun to see att when its going wild over the rohf terrain

Michael,

Sorry for the confusion. However, there have been new shoes introduced to the truck recently. If you forward your info to your local Dist. (info listed below) then they should have no problems issuing you the new version of shift shoes.

Powerslave,

Yes you can remove the top shock to lower your body. It lowers it quite a bit more. This is what our team drivers to for racing.

Powerslave,

Yes you can remove the whole unit front and rear with only four screws per side. As, for the exchange. It is different for each Dist. You will have to check with them. Below is their info. Thanks!

Powerslave,

So you have front wheel drive only? Have you checked your center, and rear drivetrain for any problems?

CEN RACING

If your set screws are tight, then you may want to check your rear dogbones.

yes i have front wheel drive only, when checking it without the car on eveything seems to be all good all the tail shafs and stuff all spin like they should as soon as the car is going and there is some wieght on the rear end as it seems the rear wheels will not work..? i lock tighted the grub screw to part GS093 to the pinion gear and now i cant get them apart, could i have striped some teeth from the pinion gear and diff ? only had running for around 5hrs after breakin period ? i have'nt yet pulled the rear diff apart yet but just trying to explor all options apart from doing that first. i have heard that the new genesis that will arive in australia this week or next will have the new front and rear diff's are these a big improvment on the old ones and will they stop some of these problems ?? im not mad at all jezz i have given it a few berries but just would like to get the peoblem resolved without having to take it back to the LHS
anyways thanks for your quick responce and hope to hear from you soon !!

powerslave,

There is a new differential for the GENESIS. It is a four Gear Differential along with aluminum diff housing. These are virtually industructable. I would check you diff and see if that is the problem before heading to the LHS.

Hi CEN Racing!
Are you saying that in batch 4 or what ever batch it is, it will have four Gear Differential along with aluminum diff housing stock? Or is it aftermarket parts?
So to the question can I buy those parts and what part number is it?

Many questions i hope you can answer some of them.

We are on Batch 15-20 now.... However... we will implement these new differentials into our trucks. Contact our Customer Service customerservice@cenracing.com for details on these upgraded differentials.

We are constantly improving our products. Our GENESIS 46 is getting stronger and more durable as we learn more. Thanks for your interest.
