The "LST" is a nice choice -- Lynn was partial to the high wing Simple Series -- I think he would like it. He flew the 1/2A SST, so why not the 1/2A LST.

LST seems like a natural.

I was thinking of these too:
LS Trainer
LS 40 (40" span)
LS 101 (101cm span)
LS .049
LS Special

Me too! me too!

BTW - Bipe, I saw in other posts that you developed a "tile print" program. How can I get a copy?

No problem. Yep, he's got lots of nice old time plans posted. Gonna have to build some, one of these days. Some are tiled too, and the best part, they are free. Very nice of him to do that

The plan is done.

RCU resized the plan when I uploaded it, but you can get a high res version from the "1/2A all the way!" group under "Documents" > "Plans".

http://groups.msn.com/12Aalltheway

If you have Tile Print, you can use it to print the GIF, otherwise you can use the PDF version.

When printing the PDF version, make sure that "Page Scaling" is set to "none" and "Choose Paper Source by PDF page size" is unchecked.

If anyone builds it, please post pictures.

What type of wood do you use for the sides of the fuse.? Theres some Balsa 1/8" sheet, and theres 'Lite ply' 1/8" plywood. The plywood sure is expensive though. 12 bucks(Canadian) for a 12"x 48" piece. maybe I'll stick with balsa if theres no strenght issues with using it.

Oh...and what type of glue do you use(havent built a plane before)? I have some medium CA glue. do I need any epoxy or will it hold with just the CA?

Thanks
