You never know, if your husband is lucky, you'll get bit by the bug as well! Once you get into this hobby, it't hard to think about anything else!

If you each get the Aerobird or the Slow-V, there is an air to air combat module. Once the two of you get good in the air,

SHOT HIM DOWN!!

The Home Of Texas Tech Red Raiders. Good sports program lubbuck has
has there. Good luck on buying your hubby a plane. Iam sure he will
be happy with what ever choice you make. Its not the gift its the thought
that counts(in my opinion). yes it would be nice if you are willing to share
this wonderful hobby with your hubby. GOOOOOD Luck.

There are some pretty good flyers in Lubbock. There is one REAL good pattern (competition rc aerobatics) pilot that I know of for sure. His nickname on rc universe is "divesplat". PM him and Im sure he will help you out. If you cant get to him here PM me and I will tell you his name so you can look him up.

hbburchett, i suggest getting something from the company called Hobby Zone. They have electric planes that are very tough, and parts are inexpensive.

In my opinion the Hobbico Superstar 40 Trainer (RTF) would be a great route. I have the ARF version that my Boyfriend (who flys) gave me for Christmas 2 years ago because I wanted to get into flying and it's an awesome airplane. I actually think he might have more fun with it than I do! This would be an awesome first airplane.
