I don't know if you would consider this as a pylon racer or not, but I have a few questions about it.

I ordered a GMS .76 to hang on the nose. This is my first GMS and being so cheap, I thought I would give it a try. I'm usually a TT and OS kinda guy.

I don't know how fast this thing is going to be, but should I go with some higher quality servos? I always run Hitec flightpacs in my planes with the 425 Ball Bearing servos. Will this be sufficient, or should I go with the 545BB, 605BB or something else?

Cheers!
Bob

I have been flying the WM Midget Mustang for the past year with an OS 91FX. I absolutely love the way this plane flies. Simply point it where you want it to go and it goes there. I have found that cutting out more cowling than usual is necessary to increase air flow. If I had a complaint it would be weak landing gear. Mine would bend back and as I taxied my plane back to me it would ultimately tip over. I replaced the landing gear and it does fine now. As far as servos are concerned, I use Futaba standard BB's in mine and all controls are clean and crisp with no flutter. You will enjoy this plane.

Have you had any problems with over-stressing the airframe? That 91 FX is a honking engine. What do you think the straight and level speed is?

What kind of gear did you use as a replacement? A friend of mine has had several of these with a Saito 90 on them, and he also had problems with the gear.
