Status: offline 		I have seen the OS .50 SX advertised on the Tower Hobbies site. However, I can't find it on the OS Engines Site. Has anyone purchased on of these engines or have any information / knowledge about it ? I am referring to the aircraft .50 SX, not the heli engine.
Any Information greatly appreciated.

Status: offline 		After you have pulled up the Tower's listing for the 50SX click on it and then click on "Tech Notes" or scroll down to them which will give you most, if not all the info that the OS website has on their engines. I see that they have neglected to include recommended prop sizes so you will need to experiment a bit but a good prop to start with might be an 11X7.

Status: offline 		I just received one of these a couple of weeks ago and put it on a new Kyosho Cap 232 40 size. It starts easy and runs beautiful and has had an exceptional idle from the ist time I ran it. It runs extremely quiet!! I think OS has a winner with this engine and it's also a ringed engine as well. I'm running a APC 12x6 prop.

Status: offline 		I appreciate the feedback. I just purchased one today. I am going to put it on a new profile Edge 540 (see [url]www.aces1.com[/url]). I will do a complete review of engine and plane from receipt to first several flights and post on this forum under the Fun Fly directory. Won't be able to start until after Christmas because my Wife will intercept the delivery of the plane and wrap it for Christmas. :
I did weigh the engine today on my digital scale. Engine only: 14.4 OZ. 17.6 OZ including muffler. That is about .4 OZ heavier than advertised. Could be my scale is off that much.

Status: offline 		Just a quick update. I have run the engine about 1 hour 15 minutes now. Got the following results on Omega 15%:
APC 10 x 6 = 14,500.
Zinger 12 x 4 wood = 12,700.
Top Flite Power Point 12 x 5 = 11,400.
APC 12.25 x 3.75 = 12,200
APC 13 x 4 W Fun Fly = 10,500.

I'll include more informatin in a review after Jan 1.
