Xeron - Your MT should come with a clear shell - thats it. roll bar - lights, decal sheet are extra.

Check with http://www.molzermoweryracing.com/dealer.html - I would assume you could order these parts.

freemurray, check with a FG dealer (list at molzermoweryracing.com). The decals are $35, the pipe $158. I ordered both with my MT. As far as I am aware, there's no FG wheelie bar available yet. The trickest one I've seen is at:

http://www.rc-car-online.de/wheeliebar_eng.htm

Would agree that the rollbar and lights will be easily damaged if you roll the truck, they are only cosmetic, not load-bearing. If you do get it, would suggest mounting it in such a way that it can be detached easily before you hit the track.

Will post my WIP pics tomorrow- due to rain ( yes I know its not good to pain in humid conditions) I had a few runs that I'm now trying to repair. Since I plan to use all the decals they should cover some of the mistakes! Hope to complete tomorrow - apply the decals and be ready to run Friday.

Anyone put the roll-bar together yet? Kinda kludgey(sp) IMO... - but looks the part.

Best one I've seen so far!

It doesn't look like a kids toy like most of the others, no offence to the others but this looks like a "real" truck.

You've worked hard on that shell, it was worth it.

Freedom69, Where did you buy your headlights from? I want to do mine the same, thats tough! How did make em look so real? How do you have them on the body? Are they glued, stuck with sticky tape? I have the roll bar on order and decals. It sucks it doesnt come with all that stuff. Did you buy the aftermarket pipe? I am thinking about that and sikk toyz makes a motor that produces almost 8hp for like 3 hundred bucks!

i'm thinking of doing the Sikk motor also, 29cc, but i didn't think it was 8hp, but anyway, if my truck has the Zenoah in it, i will be happy, but if it comes with the CY, i will look into the Sikk motor in the spring.

OK - here are some WIP pics. As you can see I am trying to create a duplicate of the FG truck. All that's left is mount the roll-bar - tint the windows and some cleanup... More work than I thought it would be.

Skulldoctor, I found someone that has one in stock for 300! It is the same place I got my MT from. They only had one and that was a week ago. He told me it produced 8hp but everyone is saying no! Someone told me to purchase a pipe before I purchased a motor. I am going to try FG's pipe (its on the way). I will let you know how it turns out! Let me know what you come up with.

Finally finished - had problems with the spray tint for the windows - so decided to skip. Other than that it's as close as its going to get to the "FG MODEL" - have lights on order- may or may not install them.

Thx RC - Forgot to mention that I used Gun Metal for the truck bed and front grill - and Silver Frost for the main Silver. The frost has a nice metal flake - but was a bit of a hassel to use.
Note - Perhaps easy hand for folks who paint bodies on a regular basis... This one will be my last for a While!

I now appreciate the painted bodies that come with Revo's - Savage 25's etc... lot more work that I would have thougt!
