Hey guys.. I was just wondering if the Mayhem has a pullstart as an option instead of the rotostart plate? I really don't like rotostarts that much and would prefer a P/S instead. I have better luck starting an engine w/ a p/s. My 9.5 MBX starts w/ 1 or 2 pulls most of the time. My mayhem is being delivered tomorrow and I can't wait so i fugured i should ask this question just in case I needed to order another part.. Thanks

Hi all, I just got a used Mayhem and have been reading posts here to learn more.

I have the Team Associated XP2 radio and when you turn the switch on the green (full) light flashes and it rapidly beeps, anyone ever seen that?

Another question, the red piece between the engine and the manifold you see in this picture is worn out on mine, anyone know what that piece is called and where I can get another?

It's an exhaust manifold gasket. You should be able to pick up a Sportwerks/Dynamite one from a local hobby shop, or GS Racing makes them as well.

I found out there is a simple solution (after calling Associated) as to what is wrong with my Tx....it's busted

It looks like this one, is the manifold gasket I need, is that a pretty good asumption?

EDIT: Found out that is the right gasket so its on the way.

I just picked up a sportwerks 26 engine for my H7 and was curious as to how the carb insert is removed from the carb. It came with one preinstalled already in the carb, does it screw out or just pull right out,I didnt want to mess up the carb so I posted here first also what is the most common insert to use the 6.5,7.5 or 9mm is there really that much of a power difference? The manual says the 9mm insert is for the most power and makes the buggy hard to control is this true?..thanks

It pulls out. There is more power with the 9mm. It just takes some practice to control the throttle.

Hi all, Where I can find a on-line manual of the sportwerk motor .26? I want to know how to rebuild or change some part (for example clutch, carbuletor, etc.) of the motor. In the RTR manul only show a page of information. Maybe when some one buy the separete motor...it include more information.

I own three of those 94358's and two of the 8800T's. You should purchase the JR 8800T......It is a better servo. The stats don't look as good but the performance difference is very noticable compared to the 94358.

I'm puting those 94358's up for auction tomorrow if anyone is interested. Just search for: 94358

I couldnt start mine up! It filled the exhaust with unused fuel, it tried a couple of times to run but when I removed the starter it died within seconds HELP

good news, leaned it up just a little and finally found the right combo, ran 1 tank through at idle sitting on a stand, did a FLAWLESS job WOOT This little girl is going to be a BEAST

Hey guys.. I just broke in my mayhem today and I have to say that this buggy is great. The buggy fired right up and I was very impressed w/ the rotostart. This is my first rotostart unit and I was actually not too sure if I should have bought the pullstart unit and ditch the rotostart. Thank goodness I didn't cuz the mayhem fired right up each time.. Even my girlfriend started the engine and it was her first time trying! I put 3 tanks through her today. The only thing I had to do w/ the engine was to lean out the HSN alittle cuz the engine would cut off whenever I hit the throttle. I drove around for the first 3 tanks mantaining temps. between 195 - 205..
The engine is really good and the 053 pipe is really silent. That would have to change since I have a JP-2 pipe on the way. I was impressed overall w/ the quality and the handling

and even the stock steering servo was more than adequate. I'll probably keep the stock servos because I only bash and do not race as of now.. The advice on this thread is great guys, keep it up.. It's one of the reasons why I chose this buggy.. See ya

I'll be glad when I see mine go down the street the first time. Since I bought it used the first thing I did was tear it completely down, clean, regrease, replace screws and learn how it goes together. I've been working on it for a week now after work.

By the looks of your Mayhem RCDadChicago, it looks pretty much brand new except some scratches on the heat sink head.. Nice pick up! Good luck w/ your buggy. I had a blast my first day.
