Status: offline 		Here is my BH Liberty 182 with VQ floats. I've had the plane for some time now and put the floats on it last week. She flies scale with a 2826/05 motor, 4S 3300 and a 11/7 APC prop.

Status: offline 		The kingfisher in my photos is from a kit built by a mate of mine Tim Nolan, he offers kits in three sizes, the one in the photos is 1/4 scale 120 glow..... They are fibreglass fuz and built up wings ......Here's a pic of mine ....os120 powered...You can also go to Tims website, I believe he has shipped many models to Canada and the USA.

Status: offline 		My fleet of models at the Float Fly organized by the Electric Model Flyers of Southern Ontario last weekend. The models are, Shearwater, 12 engine Dornier Do-X, 4 engine Dornier Superwal, Thurston Teal and scratch built Polaris. All were flown several times. Great weather, great turnout and no serious crashes.

Status: offline 		Here is a video of the first flight of my Macchi M-7 from 3 Seabees.com

It is electric with a 110. 100 Amp Control, 8 cells. I did a few things to make it more water worthy. You may have to scroll down to the last video, I do not know.

Status: offline 		1919 Dornier Gs. The one and only, as I'm almost certain this plane has never been modeled for rc. Couldn't even find any models, other than one at the Dornier Museum, which doesn't have the passenger cabin modeled.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the comments. Guess I need to stop by more often. I was amazed that the Dornier had not been modeled, given it's place in history as the first Wal. I had only known of it in more recent times, and had only seen one or two pics, at most. Like anything else, it's amazing what people will come up with if you ask around, at the right places. Without the generous responses of info I got from people at places like Seawings.uk, I wouldn't have bothered, due to lack of info.

I have another small float plane that needs to be flown, or at least attempt flight with. Really need to get out there and try these planes out. It's a little Guillows recent release 24" Beaver. They sell a float kit, and even provide plans for the floats in the primary kit. I used the plans and cut float formers with 1/32" balsa, also sheeted with 1/32" balsa to keep the weight light. The design is well done and accurate. With a bit of inset planking in the nose and fuse corners, it can be made very scale. A nice feature is that there are two stringers at the fuse corners. Glue in a "v" shaped stringer between them and sculpt round, and you can have nice rounded scale fuse corners, versus the boxy look.
