Iraqi oil production is also in decline

IT will also run on oil from: the USA, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia . No Venezuelan gas tho.

The way oil & gas companies merge and purchase each others leases, there is probably some Venzoil in there as well. And for those who don't like Hummers, no rides for you.

Of course, it would be better twisted by a female. Actually, I own a Ford Expedition, but someone I know came by to show off his new hummer (which have sure changed since the days I rode in them in the military). I also forgot to ask if he got rid of his other two hummers--he has or had one black one and one white one, which would remind me of the scotch wiskey if they were dogs instead of hummers. Regarding my Ford, I've never even put it into 4WD, but I at least I have it available for when I go to snow country. I have used the AWD. Regarding the gasoline mileage, his new hummer gets around 11mpg, my Expedition gets around 13-14mpg, and the two wheel drive version gets about the same though my Vette got better mileage than both of them. The new Vette also got pretty good gas mileage considering the amount of horse power it has and from my understanding, it was the only sports car in its class that didn't get hit with a gas guzzling tax. And one reason, I purchased the Expedition was because it was wider than many of the other SUVs. If anyone does want to go "crawling", I do know a few people who are into rock crawling though most of them "truck" their crawlers whether it is to UT, AZ, CA, or even here in Nevada--Sort of ironic since it takes a second vehicle to get the first one to an area where it can show off. Somewhat of a recap response to some of the posts I have read in this thread.

Now that is not a bad looking H2. I like the H3 a bit more tho.

It also has a few extra goodies on the inside--different dash face, extra chrome, etc.

Its the H1, the original. It was designed to replace the jeep. It is a true military off road vehicle. I'm sure a lot of people told you that by now.

I know this thread has been sleeping for a while, but I felt like chiming in....

As I understand it, the H1 was originally built by AM General, and the H2 is a GM product built on the Tahoe platform. As for the H3, I have no idea, but GM also.

Are the H1's still made by AM General?

Yes, they are built by AM General.

the funny thing is...when the original Humvee was designed...it was designed by Jeep engineers when AM General was owned by AMC. then Peugeot bought out AMC. the government was NOT going to buy military vehicles by a foreign-controlled company, so AM General was sold, and then snapped up by GM.
