GJAUBIN -> Blue Bird Servos (11/24/2004 10:21 PM)

Just got an Ultra RC YAK. Looking for servos and ran across Blue Bird servos. High torque for low money. (I know, you get what you pay for). This is why I'm asking if anyone has any experience with these servos; good, bad or indifferent. TIA

I had/have some of their parkflyer size stuff.. Not too terrible.. I've lost a few though... I think like out of the 10 i've had, probably 4 have died.. I got lucky and non died and caused a preventible crash.. Had two go out almost at the same time on the same plane but I got her down..

I run two of these in the tail of my foamie and they work a treat..Fast.

Thanks guys. For the money they look pretty good. Sounds like it depends on what batch you get as to whether they fail or not. Think I'm going to try a couple out on my four star and see what happens. Thanks.

I have been using the Bluebirds in place of GWs in my micro electric stuff and they work great.

smokingcrater -> RE: Blue Bird Servos (11/28/2004 12:17 AM)

i've got 4 of the cheap high torque ones on the way, i'll see how they compare to the cheap GWS high torque ones I had previously. (and only about half lasted throughout the year!)
