All I can comment on is the best charger known to man (In my opinion)
The Sirius charger is the BEST!....I use it on my 12v flight box and not worry about the 15 hr charge at home.....If I could not get another..I would not sell for $1000.
NO, I am not affiliated with this company AT ALL.
Why worry with all the BS...It conditions, It charges...20 minutes max for tx and rx....I have the PRO...I think it is about 120 bucks.....I would gladly sell all my fast cahrgers and re-cyclers at a bargin.......

Sorry !

Actually, you were very brave for bringing it out in the open, and should be commended for it. Others will also learn from it.

I have to agree about the Sirius charger. I have been using the Alpha 4 for years with very good results, but as far as just charging the Sirius is simple to use, small, and a no brainer.
I Really like mine.

I was about to order two of the Sirius Limited Editions but an Alpha 4 came available so I got that instead. The problem with the Sirius chargers is that the LE's need a power supply, you can't use the wall transformer, and they only charge two batteries at a time. I have 3 packs in one plane. The other strike is that they do not cycle nicad's and can't charge gel cells (lead-acid). BTW check out radical RC (http://members.aol.com/davthacker/radicalrcindex.htm) for killer prices on the Sirius chargers. The Sirius website lists the LE's for $170 and Dave has them for $115.

Yes the Sirius charger does not use the wall charger.......Why would you want to use a wall charger???????????
The purpose is to hook this baby to your flight box and fly!
He will sell you a wall (aC) charger, buy why????????????
You can buy a charger that charges as many as you want! (2 and 2)
This charger takes a 12V source...I bought a cord that works off my 12V cig plug-in....Geez...How much more simple can it get?? You CANNOT HOOK IT UP WRONG!.....if you do...it will tell you.
Good luck with the charger you bought.

You are right, you cannot beat a Alpha 4 for everything it can do.
However.....The Sirius does a better job for me. I have both.
I too use 3 bat packs in each of my airplanes.
I use a motorcycle batt I bought from Sears for 15.00 dollars and my car battery to charge.
It takes approx 20-25 minutes to charge each pack with the Sirius.
Before I leave the house I charge Two batteries off my sears battery and the remaining one off my car battery as I drive to the field.
Overnight charges are a thing of the past.
They also make a dual 2000 amp charger which I am considering buying.

Way to go Stan,
I have been in the business now for about 30 years....The new buttons and whistles out there now sound good....The Sirius charger is the best thing I have seen come down the pike...Oh well, if the newbies want to waste their money on the "gagets"
Its rheir money......I am glad to see a few have picked up on this.

OK, why is it better than the SuperNova 250S. This is a genuine, not a smart alec question.
