You may get an Air Leak, if this happens you will have a mare trying to tune it. Seal the back plate its easy!! Change the screws also that hold the backplate on to hex heads, it will stop you stripping the cross heads and struggling to get them out after they have been locktighted!

MrBillUp, don't for get to answer his question. I know that you are just aching to reply to anything but he wants to know what RTV is. What would RCU do w/o you?

i got them out no problem no i need to know how to seal the case back up again. i know i have to use some kind of silicone stuff what is it exactly? and how do i apply it? should i put the backplate back on then just run a bead around the seam? or should i put the bead on the face of the case dealy do dad and put the cack plate on top of the bead? i think the first way would be better way to ensure that i do not get any of that stuff in the motor right? or will it not make a good seal?

See the link for a few different types of RTV ~ You can buy it at any hardware store or auto parts place.

Also, you want to use the blue stuff. At least that is what I use.

Application: Just cake it on. Make sure that it does not get on the internal mechanisms.

Get ur facts right before you start flaming!!

I was answering this question!!!

If I want to help people that is up to me not you so get a grip and pull your pants up!!

Dont just cake it on m8, take your time and do the job right. Use Permanent Clear Silcone Sealer, it will dry in 24hrs and go rock hard. You will then be able to peel away the excess and have no mess at all, hence not to just "cake it on" If you use Clear you will be able to do everything on the engine and carb and it will look very neat!!

I cant be botherd to argue with you Dowa423 as I am an adult and I try to act like one!!!

PS.. Exactly what is the "Blue Stuff" Thats really answerd his question!!

Yes you were.

The whole forum is for info & help. Although I'm sure you are more than willing to reply to any post. Go give em some good advice, you seem to have an informative comment for any post - Also what do my pants have to do with anything? Now, now children ~

BTW you don't want the RTV to turn ROCK HARD. It needs to be able to expand and retract with the metal temp changing.

Then why did you reply? I was not arguing.

Ha ha ahh... It's all good MrBillUp ~ I was not flaming at you, was I? I was not trying to curse, flame, degrade, insult or embarrass you. All I said was: "MrBillUp, don't for get to answer his question. I know that you are just aching to reply to anything but he wants to know what RTV is. What would RCU do w/o you?"

I just get annoyed at your massive amounts of posts and over done comments, including your lingo (M8) and RED font color. In fact, every time I see your name in the posts I make sure that I read your post and almost every time I am annoyed. Its all good though. No hard feelings right? No need to offend, Eh?

You know when people use red for their font in the buisness place it ususally means they are mad or aggressive, with the need to get a point across, etc. Granted this is not a professional workplace for some of us, but why do you use RED?

I am 29 years old. I run a washer less LST.

One of my very good freinds / co-workers is British / Maori and I love his accent and lingo.

This site RC Universe. Its for anybody in the world. Any country. Not just Americans mate.

Why do you wan't others to see the RED font? If you are color blind it should'nt matter to you what color the font is. RED makes some people feel like your yelling or mad.

By the way I am French Canadian ~ EH

I would feel bad if you quit posting on every thread. Don't let me be the cause of you not posting anymore. Like I said I read all of you posts daily. I don't comment on all of the posts that I read though.

Ok one last post!

Whats this got to do with anything??

So this is something personal then between me and you,?? I am not the only English person that speaks like this!!

It helps ME see it better, did you think of that??

Why comment at all, nothing you have said in this post has been useful to these forums whatsoever! You are just basically getting the fact that you dont like me off your chest!! There is one simple answer to this whole problem DONT READ MY POSTS!! Just skip right through it and keep your personal attacks to yourself!!

From now on I will only ask questions and if I get any replies then all well and good. I will not reply to any more threads as I cant be botherd to sit here and explain myself anymore. I will let the experts deal with peoples enquiries!!

I know your gonna want to get the last word in so go ahead, but just remember this is for everyone to read and it is a sticky so lets finish it here!!

Well this is the thread about the washer. Just thought I would throw that in.

Nope, not personal.

I saw that you used a bright blue once. Blue is a cool mellow color and does not seem so aggresive.

This was not a personal anything. I like you just fine. I have contributed to this thread back on pages 4, 5, and 7 ~ Go look.

red text - so what?!?! doesnt make a difference to anything. thats like demanding "WHY HAVE U GOT AN AVATAR!!!" its just to personalise your messages and profile on the forum.

the fact that hes posting alot isnt a bad thing? all his replies (apart from ones defending himself from you) are all helpfull and in reply to someones question.

dowa ive got nothing against you, i just dont see why your having a go at him

even though im way younger than both of you - calm down kids
