You must have the LST2?
If so than you have the Mach427 so ya Don't have to worry...
The washer was only in the first 10000 or so LST-1s ..All the New Engines Mach 26 the 28 and the 427 have ser#s on the Block...

When I got my used LST, the guy had got the truck like a year ago. He had run about a gallon through it. I looked at the number, and it was number 297. I was like, "Shiat"!! I opened the engine up, and discovered the little devil on the engine. Took it out, and it was just beginning to show signs of wear!! oh gasp!!

I don't think so, I have the LST 2 so I don't have the washer, but I have that rattling noise too.

I see.. well, on my LST1 you told me that's where the noise comes from. Maybe the gears need some oil?
