i think it would be a neat idea. but to save $$ you could use elec instead of nitro, and find old cheap used ones off even e b a y or something. demo derbys are cool, you just keep goin until it just wont move anymore!!!!

Just do it with some stock rustlers...I'd do it. I'd do a demo oval. Have some slow E maxxes and some fast nitro stadium trucks and see how much emaxxes you can pass. OR, have 4 people run clockwise and 4 people run counter-clockwise then see who can pull the fastest laps. They would be timed the same way so everything would be fair. Except maybe the people turning right all the time instead of left...

Well...we actually did do it about 3 weeks ago, my intention was to film it and post it here but we only had 4 cars in it that were all rigged up from spare parts and were all nitro. Welp, it only took about 15 seconds of smashing into each other full on to destroy our cars and it didn't even make for good footage which really pissed me off because we all tried so hard to make it work. All you see is us, basicly doing donuts into each other and it is very boring to watch so I didn't even bother posting it. The few good scenes of actual damage will be incorpirated into a future vid. We've had nothing but snow here in NY for the past week so it's been kinda quiet on the Rc scene.
As soon as we get some more footage to make a decent vid you guys will be the first to know.

Demolition derby huh??? I agree with all those who say that it is a waste of money. But this is what I do. I go out and buy a real full-sized car for like 50 bucks and build it to drive in a real demolition derby. It will cost you less to smash a real car in a real demolition derby than it will when you smash up your rc car/truck. Plus,,,you will never In all your life have such a intense adrenaline rush the first time you hit another car head on at 25 MPH,, did I forget to say that the other car may be travelling 25MPH at you too!! LOL!!! If ya got the stones to do it you will never forget it and mabey just mabey be hooked for life. Peace "O"

hears an idea use sh*tty little NiKKo evolution cars, thay can take sutch a twating its untrue, but still it would hav to be a game of tag like petrolpixie said, its just to stupid to purposly bust sumit exspensiv, tahts why they invented demo derby in the first place to mash up alredy pre-mashed sh*t boxes.
stupid rich kids, 'oh lets go get a brand new ruslter or RS4 n crsh it into another one for fun' lol, you could easaly get a sh*t box form the scrap yard n do the same n hav more fun, lol!
