Congratulations on your Gorgeous Jet, I Love SU's myself I'm currently flying a much smaller one from Aviation Design and its a sweetheart. [;)]

i was following your painting and finishing thread here on rc universe, great job!!

at the moment i am thinking about how to paint my prototype, one of my favorite is the No. o8 from the ukrain airforce. it's like yours, but without the aerobatic stripes in yellow/blue.
what colour numbers did you use for the different blue and the grey?

Hi Harald,

the painter that I use is a custom motorcycle guy and he looks at all the pictures that I give him from the real one and started mixing colors till he gets it dead on [:D]
If you'd like I can have him mix me Color chips of every color on my SU and I'll be glad to send them to you with the exception of the Demo stripes. The weathering on my SU is right ON, I couldnt believe how dirty they keep these things.

PS. By the way there's 11 different colors on this scheme.

yes that would be great!!
it's not easy to get colour numbers for the russian planes, they don't use the same RAL or FEDEAL STANDARDS.....
i made a very good contact to the russian jet-modelers, maybe they also can help.
but yes, please send me your colour chips!

I´ve seen your F-5 in Punitz, a really nice performer too! I´m building a SU-27 from Peter Liebetrau right now, got my kit in Punitz. I like the sleek lines of this beauty!
