thats the point! someone who spent 2+ years on a project isn't going to just "post his plans" for someone else to use.. PLus if you actually go thru that entire site, it doesn't appear that their are any "plans"

i3dm -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (7/10/2009 6:10 PM)

bozonghare, are you from Iran (as was mentioned earlier) or from Germany ?

bozonghare -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (7/11/2009 5:51 AM)

I born in Iran and live in Germany .

Its be objection?

ianober -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (7/11/2009 7:39 AM)

Come on man, you don't get it. Why would Harold post his work for everyone to exploit? 5 years it took to build that thing. 3 -views are everywhere, dig em up. If you cant research a project then chances are you wont be able to get much further than that.

Bill W G S -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (7/14/2009 9:27 PM)

I believe most of the line drawings harold used are from: Sukhoi Su-27 'Flanker' (World Air Power Journal Special Series) (Paperback)

lavi rider -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (10/4/2009 12:53 AM)

Dear Harald,

Are you or anyone going to produce the bird ? Will it be available for the general modelers?

Regards
Peter .

harald huf -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (10/5/2009 8:15 PM)

Hi Peter,
at the moment i cannot produce my SU27 in business style.
The model is very complicated and takes me too much time.
I will try to build one or two more planes in different paintings this winter, maybe i will sell one next year.
best regards, Harald

Ali -> RE: big SU 27 Flanker Project in Germany (10/5/2009 8:24 PM)

If you are ever looking for a buyer, please fell free to email me.
Regards Al
P.S I know you have heard it all before... But stunning work Harald.

Hi Harald,

At last i found you [;)] i would have liked follow this forum before but the pasion of this hobby was born into me very late. your work is amazing and inspire me to build my own model. At this moment i am building an static model of an f16 scale 1:5. like your model i am sheeting with balsa wood, in other words i am in the page 2 of your project's web site jajaja. it will take me a time i know but i love it. Harald I need your help i try to find the correct profile for the wings. can i use the same profile of the actual f16 with the same washout? do you know a list of profiles used for these kind of scale jet models? some modelist suggest to me use the same of the actual f16 NACA 64A204 and others think it hasn“t stability at lower speeds. the thing is if i select another profile i have to modify the fuselage near to the root. the thickness of the profile in the root of the actual f16 is 4% and its important that this modification in my model be minimum.

greets and again thanks for share your work,
Pablo
