Hi guys

This is my first jet, powered by JetCat-P80, flies great, build from a low-cost kit about US$ 300, look also at: http://www.rc-network.de/cgi-bin/ubb...c;f=6;t=000022

Kind regards from Vienna

What was the kit like to build? I am really growing to like the lines of the Yak 130.

Garrett

Default YAK 130

Garrett,

June/July 2000 RCJI featured a kit review on the YAK 130 by Andy Cook and a 'walkround' feature of the full-size too - might be of interest you.

Cheers,

Dick.

Hi Spunki,

Thanks for you prompt reply. I can not find the YAK 130 on their web site but I sent an e-mail to them anyway for availability. Is this a very old model?

Albert Lee

Dear Spunki

Thanks for your pictures....it's nice. I wish I can get the model real soon.

Do you know the Ramtec fan can fit in the YAK130?

Hi SJ

Of course, the model is intended for a retractable landing gear. Place for the retractable landing gear is enough present. But I inserted a rigid landing gear. I have try to make everything as simple as possible. It is my first jet and I wanted a durable jet-trainer.

Great pictures!
I see there is lots of space inside....

But looking at pictures of the real thing, the intakes are quite different compared to the ones on the model......but who cares :-)

Hi SJ

I know, it is not really scale, but I used the Yak as a trainer ... it is simple to fly and fast more than enough

Hi Spunki,

Can yo please tell me the wingspan & length of your Yak.

(1) what comes with the kit.

(2) how did you find the instructions ( are they available in English).

(3) How much fuel do you carry.

(4) Are the wings pre sheeted.

Thanks for now,

Andy.

Thanks Spunki

I have sent an email to the Austrian dealer for ordering details.
What have you done to make the aircraft suitable for your turbine? What parts did you have to make stronger?
