Good Morning Everybody.
Does Somebody Have Experience With The Motul Micro Oil?
There Are Fuel Thats Used 100% Motul Micro (16% Oil Total), with 5% Nitro and the rest methanol.
This Is A Good oil? Some people said thats he has some materials thats improve the compression and make a better idle, this is true?

Well, one poster from... Sweden?, named Jaka swears by that oil. Many feel that it is a better synthetic than our beloved Klotz here in the USA.

Keep in mind that it is a snythetic oil, as opposed to castor oil that comes from a castor bean. The synthetics burn very clean, but do not offer as much protection from high heat as the castor oil.

I'm mixing fuel with motul micro a couple of years now.
i'm useing 18% of it without castor.
never had a problem!!

yes. not only jaka. on rcgroups people swear too. I live in europe and want to get one and taste it. they say engine needs 15% full sinthetic.

Hello guys!
Well most fellows over here in the capitol area of Sweden (Stockholm)... and I think the whole Sweden ...and Europe ...run all synthetic oils.

Very popular is either the German Aerosynth 2 or Aerosave all synthetic oils by Fuchs or the French Motul "Micro" oil...but there are other oil too being used.
Most people in my club (Väsby Modell flygare with 130 members) use between 10% and 15% oil.
I 'm a bit conservative so I use 15%.
I been flying R/C and CL for 30 years , competing in nearly every class there is, but mostly being into pylonracing and I have run the French Motul "Micro" all synthetic oil with great succes.
There is no carbon build up, much less glowplug wear, less piston cylinder scuff marks, engines are easier to start and maintain due to no oxidating castor oil in the engine, no after run oil needed as these oils contain their own rust inhibitor and last but not least...less oil goo on the plane (On this I don't agree though) These are some of the "facts" that make people convert to all synthetic oil over here.
Motul "Micro" oil must be available in racing shops selling the Motul line of oils in the US!
Over here the Motul racing oils are available at motorcycle shops but the "Micro" has to be special ordered.

Just got a price for this liquid gold, $34.00 for one two liter bottle! That's only enough to make 3.5 gallons of fuel mixed at 15%. Pretty frickin expensive if you ask me. Twice as much as Klotz. I don't think that included shipping.

you call this liquid gold?? 17$/L ,.... Gold is so underrated these days.....

some Countries here in Europe,mine included (Greece),
pay for niromethane 50-70 Euros/L.... if they can find some ......thats 64.75$ - 90.65$ !!!!!! (checked last month at a chemical supplier)

can't blame the guys who doesn't use it......me included.

yes I know,I was just a little sarcastic....,but everything I wrote is true.

I can find motul micro for 10EU/L here,but I can also mailorder from France which is about 8EU/L, for 2-liter bottles or get a 60 liter drum for 7EU/L+shipping costs.

At 8 euro/Liter I would consider it after getting a spec sheet on it. Did you fing the micro on the Motul site? I could not. I wonder if it is a relabeled product.
