I am looking to purchase a nitro car and i was just wondering if could please get some advice. First off, i was just wondering what are the top brands and what really makes on car better from another. I was also looking to get some feedback on a couple specific cars, OFNA LD-3and DURATRAX STREET FORCE GP2.

either go with a RS4 3 or a ntc3 because those are great beginner cars and you can hop them up insanely and they have great support with parts and stuff

The Ofna LD3.
It is the best for racing or bashing. I use mine for racing and bashing also. I bash more then I race though. The LD3 is shaft driven and is a upgraded carbon copy of the NTC3. Its basicly the same thing except exporticed to a pro racing standard.

And I just thought I would mention that my freind has an duratrax street force GP2 and every time he drives it he breaks it, not just because he is a bad driver but the car isnt really built for durability!

ok look the main compnays are: HPI, Traxxas, and Team ass. bacically. now i wouldent get schumacher for 2 reasons, all ive heard is that they are easy to brake, and a beginer DOES NOT NEED 70mph! I wouldent get a cen because cen is sorta a side compnay, and doesent hav the technology, or aftermarket support HPI and Tram Ass. has. get a HPI RS4 or a Nitro TC3, and learn how to drive! plus once u become a better driver there is ALOT of stuff u can do to a RS4 or TC3 to make it go faster!

Dats my 2 cents

-Steve

lol the fusion dont break there as strong as **** and faster than anything around there strongs than traxxas associated and a few hpi's and cens r fine and there is only 1 simple think u can do to both them cars to push them over 80mph and the schumacher fusion does 89mph with the high speed clutch bell on it

well.............. the CEN is a good car, but not alot of dealers carry parts for that car anymore. even though most dealers dont carry parts for an Ofna LD3, the hobby store can order them in easily, and they are all over on the internet.

Just a thought.

the main reason i say to get the RS4 or TC3 is b/c ur hobby shop should hav parts for them, where as they prolly wony hav parts for the cen or schumacher. go to ur hobby shop and ask them what they carry alot of parts for, because 70mph ant nothin when u have to wait a week for that vital part!
