Status: offline 		Well while I'm waiting my EMAXX tranny and redsigning the Cherokee tuber, I fab'd up a crossmember and skid. Here's some pic's and sketches (not to scale). 16 gauge sheetmetal was used. Enjoy, comment, tweak for your needs!





Minimal loss of ground clearance. I'll probably remake out of aluminum.


For realism, I cupped the diff

Status: offline 		That looks pretty cool. If you don't mind me asking, what is the point of mounting the two upper-links in the middle of the axle? Oh, by the way, I think your real 1:1 scale Cherokee looks awesome.

Status: offline 		The majority of the big crawlers (TXT, Clod, etc...), and 1:1 crawlers use this geometry. My first attempt at CheroKrawler, I used the stock geometry. Didn't work to well, I had binding and the axle assembly would shift from side to side.

The clod example is from 4RnrRick and the 1:1 is from a friends shop (www.DandCetreme.com)
