A little off topic,

H-9 is getting ready to put out an electric AT-6. There is a poll, on another forum, aimed at influencing the next H-9 offering (H-9 is watching the thread!)

So, I thought I would ask all the mustang lovers over here to go over and vote for the P-51B/C !!!!

here's the link, remember to come back to RCU when you are done voting!!!

Heya BaldEagle. Those picas seems to make into nice Mustangs.
Got any more info about your cooling duct?

I want to try something similar on a .60 size. Still in dev. phase

Here is my TF P-51D that I just finished. This is one that I flew as an ARF for two years and liked how it flew so much I decided to scale it out some. Stripped the covering and molded in the gun ports and wing fairings. Made aluminum doors for all with Aerotech inner doors. Aerotech canopy and wheels. Added a few more details to the cockpit. Glassed and painted with auto paint. Panel lines but no rivots this time. All paint masks. G-62 on ign. had a ZDZ 40 before decided for more power and reliability of Zenoah. Robart for the gear with a UP-2 for scale operation.

This is the baddest p-51 I have ever flown or seen flying, absolute missile on rails and rock steady no twitching of any type in flight!

It's been a while but I thought I'd add my Byron Mustang. No maiden yet. Radio issues to iron out. Covering is Flite Metal and paint is Model Master. Graphics are from Cajun R/C.

Olen Rutherford at Paris, Arkansas just recently finished his "Old Crow" P51 and put maiden flight on her last week. He would never post it so I will for him. He is a great builder and very good flyer even if he does not think it. Howard Davidson did test flight.
This is a modified (obvious) Top Flite GS P51 ARF with Fuji43 and std robart retracts.
