THE RYAN AIRCRAFT CO. MADE AN AIRCRAFT CALLED THE FIREBALL. IT WAS AN F6F LOOKING THING THAT HAD THE PRATT UP FRONT AND A TURBINE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUSE. I DONT RECALL ALL THE SPEC'S ON IT, BUT IT MUST HAVE BEEN A REAL HANDFUL.

John N. This is the same combo I've been thinking about (only have 3 Mustangs now). How is the performance on the 3W 50. Any problems mounting with rear induction? What muffler?

Capt. G The 3W-50 performs well in this plane. Speed is good looks to me much higher then scale. Some difficulty with the rear induction. Large hole in firewall. Then choke going to the outside. Used a Sonic Pitts style muffler. This partially blocks access to the needle valves. You can reach them with difficulty. I changed the chin block into a removeable hatch so I could get in from the bottom. But the look is great. No carb hanging out the side,. You can only see the side of the muffler and the pipes out the bottom See side of muff. in photo #1 John N
