Ok, here's a pic of some discontinued Dynaflite 40 sized "funscale" Mustangs.

The blue nosed one is actually the older Marks Models kit.

Thanks dago red,

Smoothness is from monokote.
Blue one no longer exists
One of the yellow ones was built for a buddy who I flew formation with. But alas, he has left the hobby and retired it.
The remaining yellow one still flies when I have time. Finally got round to putting some exhaust stacks on too!.

Sure wouild like to try one of those nice TF ones I see the others posting here one of these days- or maybe a scratch built one?

From what Ive seen that TF kit is a you know what to build. And the guy who built it is scared of it. The owner is scared of it too. From what Ive heard about stangs ,Im starting to get scared of mine. It has a 62 inch wing span (supposed to have 64) and I plan on using a ST .91 for the powerplant. I have alot of work ahead of my. You do good with covering. Im 17 and been in it for 2 1/2 years and people tell me I do good jobs. And I have just been hired to cover a kadet senior. I got done in a week and the owner was thrilled. Made $40 to put into the stang. People at the field talk about hiring me to cover thier plane so they can help me build this stang. I thank them all. I plan on puting the name of me supporters on the plane.

Hi DagoRed,
Thanks for the nice comment.
The scheme I used was on the last operational P-51 used by the US military. The Army used the P-51 in 1968 as a chase plane for the Cheyenne helicopter program. Something different than the usual WW II schemes.
