It will also be interesting to see what motor they recommend, and if they choose to put landing gear on it, to appeal to the masses!

Try posting a Want Ad here on RCU. Maybe someone has a set to sell. The 46ax will work with the engine mounted upright.

I just returned from China and am happy to say that the Outlaw is in production and should leave China before the end of December. I worked closely with Jerry Smith and Robert Vess to insure that the ARF version of the Outlaw is as close to the version they have been flying as possibe and that they are both happy with the way it performs. The Outlaw wll be available in the 3 Ultracote color schemes pictured. I apologize that it has taken so long to get the plane to market, but it had to be right!
We will begin taking orders soon.

This is great news! Now I don't have to treat mine like it's a collectable.

Collectable? I build them in pairs because they have expiration dates on them, you can't see the expiration date but it's there.

Sweet.

Great color schemes and you can't go wrong with Ultracoat either.

Julian, I am finishing out the first prouction sample off the assembly line this weekend as well as writing the assemby manual and I will update our website with these details soon. Most guys use .32-.36 engines with moose can mufflers or tuned pipes. 46-50 ounce weight depending on set-up.

What size fuel tank will it use? Have you moved the main ribs apart for more room?

It will use a 6 oz. tank. There is a bit more room in the radio compartment for easier radio installation.

Hello, PLEASE Can someone tell me where the CG is on the outlaw. Is it from the firewall or the pointed nose. I'm wanting to use a .46 fx with pipe. Bkseyer@yahoo.com

The 46 will weigh quite a bit. This plane is designed for a .25. The .32 fits the bill since it weighs close to the .25.
The CG is 16.5-18 CM back from the front of the firewall. 17.3 is where you want it!

I'm asking the same question here as I haven't received any answer on the Extreme Flight Outlaw thread :

"OKAY.
I have two NIB Webra .32 at hand. I think I'll use one of them instead of my magnum. One of them has the lightweight stock muffler (not baffled ). How much performance gain is to be expected from the mousse can muffler setup pictured on ExtremeFlight web site ? And does anyone know how to build that kind of setup ? Where does the header stop ? Where does the stinger start ? I've read several articles about them but never tried it. I already have the .32 sized macs header btw. I have the bad feeling the whole thing would come apart after some flight time ... this mousse can muffler has reportedly to be mounted "free".... which wouldn't be the case for a traditional tuned pipe, which I think would be more durable. Any thoughts ?

My servos setup : 3 x HS 645 MG. Is it OK for all out performance ?

Intended prop : 8x8. Can I break-in that webra on the ground with a 8x6 ? Good ol' 2' pitch rule. (pretty scary idea as I regularly run my os 15 LA on this prop ). "

Any input ? Thx.
