Makes me wish I had mine already.
Werks shipped it on the 16th, but they must have sent it by Pony Express. Because I'm not scheduled to get mine until the 23rd. I've shipped cars from CA faster than that.
I blew up my engine last week, so my Savvy is siting on my work bench waiting for a transplant. But all is not lost, I got a used Savvy from my LHS for 2 bucks, and gave it to my son. I'm guessing it's going to take a little while to tune it in for him.

Yeah, I wish!! 1 Buck = $100. So it cost $200. Still not bad for a Savvy 25SS w/dual brakes and High End Futaba servos. He told me that he had run about 6 tanks a fuel through it. And the engine is still not broken in yet so I'll believe him.

I almost fell out of my chair when I read that. I just started my STS28. Letting it sit after first tank.

After you get the first tank through it, use the heat cycle method for the next 2 tanks. After that run it hard.

Alright now it's not a chain saw. I hate pull starts! I think that there's a thread some were on this forum on installing a roto-start for this engine.

I emailed Eric at werks some time ago about that and he replied that a rotostart is in the works and will be available sometime soon

If you are asking about my STS, it is looking very strong. Had a small pull start problem though. Will be out of town for work till next Thurs so I'll have to wait to run again.

You guys should know that the Collari has a big carb throat in the engine casing and if the flywheel extends over the case as a dust shield the gnurled portion mght hit it.Not familiar with the savvys clutch set up but thought ya'll ought to know. Here's a pic to better explain the problem..That's a stock LST flywheel with about an 1/8 deep dust shield and I can't get it close enough to the engine so my clutch bell spins free ..not enough shaft sticks out of the bearing so I've ordered a werks MT 4 shoe clutch with no dust shield to make it work.Alternately I guess I could've just ground off the gnurled portion of the flywheel as it's no good as a bumpstart anyway

Hope this helps

Peace

It should work out fine w/the stock flywheel....

Dude, I KNOW that you aren't gonna run that composite clutch with that engine... My SH SMOKED a composite... and it slipped like mad by 1/4 tank. I have a nice new set of Mugen aluminum shoes and 1.1mm springs waiting.
