You will notice a marked drop in power when recharge is needed. It is better with lead acid batteries to avoid a deep discharge. In fact it is better to top them off as soon after use as possible. If you are not familiar with manual charging Lead storage batts and the voltage,time and current restraints an Automatic Charger would be a wise purchase. They are available from many suppliers.
