This is just my opinion, but in the end, arnt we all just people who like cars and r/cs? every single car is a piece of art in its own. Every car is sitting on a metal chassis, with a motor, and wheels, and tires, etc. A car is a car, its just everyone has different tastes in cars. Its like women, every guy has a different taste in women. Some like'em big, some like'em tiny, tall, short, DOESNT MATTER! Just get over yourselves and enjoy the fact that we have the privlege to do what we do and have fun with it, you un-grateful dam people! lol. [/rant]

Should I whip out the violin? LOL. JK. Good stuff, I agree.

However, I'm more of a bike person than a car person...

Your right i do have something to say. . . . . . . . bikes are g a y. Except for a few cruisers, the harley style.

Umm. . . . .what the hell is wrong with you people. Don't you want your cars to be unique? For people like me(17yo), i take pride in knowing that I put in my radio, I put in my speakers, and with a little help from friends we changed my injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter. Paying someone to do all that for me would be a waste of money. I would be ashamed to show off a speaker system that I paid someone to put in for me. Most of the fun of owning a car is to work on it yourself. Get your hands dirty damit!!!!!!

I am personally a fan of sport bikes, but when it comes down to it id have to go with kawasaki. I personally own a kawasaki dirt bike right now and when im 18 i hope to get a 600 kawasaki.

Its not the foreign car companies that i hate. Its all the little fags goin around braggin that their honda is the fastest thing ever cause they put a big muffler on it and ground effects. Some hondas and nissans and such are fast and deserve respect. but these little fags always rippin on american cars when they dont no what theyre talking about. Im talkin about the people that think watching The Fast and The Furious will teach them how to make their moms 89 civic a 10 second car.

You took the antenna ball thing seriously?

Speaking of unique, everyone your age does the same stuff to their car... So how are you being unique? Did you forget to mention what car you own, or just didn't want to get ripped on for not owning anything nearly remote of what you're running your mouth about? Now me, i ride my longboard and public transportation to get where i need to go, and have been for the last few years. Does that make you 'better' than me because you own/drive a car with such unique and hot mods?

It was supposed to be, "nothing on a sportbike." And those stripped down buells are not any competition for his 600...

He owns a kawasaki too, so i guess he's cool now? I'm with you on the entire f&f genre of cars out there. I used to live/work in Oroville, California at Alter Images, then at Doug'e Boy Customs, and day after day we had cheap chinese exaust installs, vinyl graphics, and clear tails. THOSE are ricers, a foreign car is not automatically a ricer.

Ok, the guy got his answer, and none of the rest of this is relevant.

I think the thread should be removed. I can't believe you people have nothing better to do than argue about things you only half-understand anyway. Have you EVER seen someone involved in an internet argument say "you know what, you are right and I'm wrong. I'm such an idiot for spewing opinions with no basis at all"? I sincerely doubt it. Crap like this ruins internet forums. Shut up already.

Of courseI don't have a good car. I'm just a poor kid who has fun with the car I have. Lol fine here is my car, 1990 Chevy Lumina. . . . . . . monster V6 3.1L obviously not the fastest thing in the world. haha. This is what poor teens drive you rich people.

It used to be my great aunts car, then my moms, than she couldn't get it to run so me and my friend fixed it up. It was good for a while but now it needs fuel injectors that i am putting in, in a few days. Fun s h i t.

So far we have replaced the TPS sensor, O2 sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump, plug wires, a few belts, had the old battery in it until 2004, and 2 injectors. Plus the 4 more i have to do. All this just to keep the thing running. I know how to fix my car(kinda) what do u guys know how to do? sign a check?

You're assuming quite a few things... Most of us build r/c kits, and have plenty of mechanical skills to accomplish car repair & modification. Just because we don't talk about it in an R/C forum doesn't mean we lack it.

theres no way you can compare building an R/C car to working on a real car. WHen you're working on a real car the persons whos car it could die because u did somethng wrong. If you forget to tighten the wheel on your rc car and i tfalls off its good for a few laughs. but if rotate the tires on your friends car and forget to tighten a couple lugnuts and his tire falls of going 65 on the highway it's probably not gonna be as funny.
