I find this thread quite retarded.

monster belair, it's obvious you are being too stubborn to accept the fact that you don't need to be mechanically inclined to proudly own a highly modified car. Take a look at Jay Leno...the man has a GENUINE LOVE for cars yet he probably doesn't touch them. Can you tell him he doesn't deserve to have those cars because he doesn't do the work on them?

At this point, it is pointless to carry on this argument as you simply don't get it.

1. It's a Chevy Silverado body, not an S-10
2. It's spelled Ferrari, and they do not have more power than any american car. They're just made out of carbon fiber, kevlar, and aluminum and make very good use of the power they do have.
3. You're smoking crack if you think BMW's can make it to 60mph in 1.5secs. The BMW M3 coupe takes 4.8secs. to get to 60mph, which is the fastest STOCK BMW.

Do a little research before you run your mouth too kid.

The only time I truely hate ricers is when you see a 16 year old kid in his first car with a 9 inch folders can hanging 4 inches below the bumper, on top of that theres an unpainted body kit, when it drives it sounds like a b-52 bomber is about to crash. Plus he's riding all gangsta' with the seat laid back... I'm not trying to be stereotypical classifying that everyone who tunes there overseas car as the above. You can appreciate a well built overseas car that can be pretty powerful compared to american cars. I am saying all of this as an american car lover ( I own a restored 91 camaro with a 350). Oh fords suck and half the stuff I wrote above probably doesn't make sense

I can totally agree with you guys now. Earlier in this forum alot of ignorant people were being ignorant about foreign cars in the same way Monster Belair is being stubborn about American cars. And No monster Belair, The cars at the hot rod shows in highwood are not made %100 by their owners. They don't have sewing machines in their garage to sew their own interiors. And they dont have a machine shop in back to make their own motor.

A primered, dented up, old car with a rebuilt motor and some minor engine mods is hardly something to be bragging about. I'm kinda getting an idea of the cars you're into now, redneck mobiles, like on joe dirt... he did all the work himself, must be proud. LOL

If you did the rebuilding yourself you should be proud of it. No matter how it looks to others if you like it you should be proud of it.

I didn't say you shouldn't be proud of it, just to know it's not the top of the line or the best... He was saying only owner built cars deserve respect, untrue.

Just accept the fact that you were wrong on those points. No reason to make stuff up, here at RCU you don't have to lie to kick it.

First of al, if you know its not an s-10 dont say its an s-10. Secondly, concept cars dont mean sheee-yyyt because theyre not even in production. Get your cars straight.

Why mention the S-10 then? This thread is about lexan plastic r/c bodys, not their 1:1 counterparts ( though the talk strayed away when kids started talking about stuff they didn't have a clue about ). There has never been a S-10 r/c body to my knowlege. S-10 extreme's are 'rice' anyway ( they have domestic rice, willows, ca. has several rice flats LOL), they have bodykits for crying out loud! And concepts are just that, concepts. Name one car that was a kick concept and carried everything with it to production... Exactly, none, because concepts are never cost effective, and take too long to produce in mass quanities due to their materials and design. Now will you just admit you were wrong?
