Thanks stinks! I think the orginal owner must call Great Planes and de-register it.

ok just got g3 and loaded it on a viao it wont run it said that i have no 3d graphics can i get a download online to fix it (afpd wont run on it ) what should i do

Sounds like your system is not strong enough to run G3 or some of the other sims.

How much hardrive space do you have?
What type of processor and how large is it?
How much memory (RAM) do you have?
What graphics card do you have installed?

You need a processor in the 1.7 gig range or larger
You need 512 mb of available ram
You need one of the specific direct X 9 compatiable cards that are listed at Knifeedge.com.

Call knifeedge or greatplanes support or have the previous owner call and unregister it.

How do i change the reset after crash? I don't want it to reset at all after a collision. I would like to see how long I can fly with a busted plane?!

I've had G3 for about a month now and have a question about trimming out planes - flight trim not color scheme. Will a given plane require different trim settings at different times? Sometimes, I can't get a plane trimmed at all - they will just fly in circles no matter what I do. I have tried re-calibrating the controller, but that doesn't change anything when the planes are acting that way. I have version 448, which is the most recent. The only thing that will fix it is to exit the program and restart. Is that normal, or is something wrong with the interlink controller?

I haven't seen my problem come up anywhere so i'm hoping it's just a setting I need to change . My planes show a disk for the prop arc at all throttle settings. In G2, I could see the prop blades turn over, they would be slower at idle and they would speed up as the throttle was advanced. It was not only really cool but added to the realism of the simulator. Is there a way to get rid of that prop arc and see the prop blades change speed with throttle?

What kind of frame rate are most people getting? I'm running G3 using the onboard video on my computer and getting about 25-40... I have only PCI slots so I'm limited on graphics cards...
