ever wonder why THEY ARE (not there) cheap?

loads of people buy them, so they are mass produced....

loads of people buy them, cos they are good....

loads of people buy them, cos people who have them - recommend them....

u gettin it yet? or does this thread have to go on forever, til u have covered every .12 engine out there? i dont see the point in asking a question if u choose to ignore the advice of others who are trying to help u, often with years of experience.

personally id get a os .18 cvrx for bashing and the os .12 cvr for racing (if u really must have an engine for the 10% of ur time u are not bashing) if not then just the.18 and run in outlaw classes when racing.
as u pointed out they are cheap, both are easy to run and tune, they both use the same os performance pipe and headers i believe, and should be around about ur $200 budget. the power claims are always low on os engines if numbers are ur thing. u wont be disappointed with either of those engines.

poor judgment: please dont yell at me but how are these more powerful .18 on the driveline?diff, axles, slipper. i would assume that along with the extra expense of the bigger motor one would be buying new parts all around.

lol, i promise not to shout... erm, dunno how the xxxt will cope with an .18, but if my cen can deal with it, i would have thought that a losi would be ok. just goin by how much better made people claim the losi is, compared to the cen for example...

That .18cvr will just fit in the same spot. It used the same mounts as a .12/.15. Yes, it can handle the power and just wheelie a lot. One of the LHS guy's is running the .18cvr in his NT with no issues. If my NT doesn't go, I will acquire the same engine and do it for myself.
