Hi again,

After dissappointing ECHO 140D, today I have found Robin NB211 weedeater. I have some photos for you? So you can tell me if it is good to convert, And What do I need for?

I think when I cut the excess alu. which covers the flywheel, I cut it complete so I use CH ignition instead of stock fly wheel.
Fly wheel replaced backwards, so it is not possible to shave the fins ( if I do so I will loose the base the fly wheel connects to the shaft..
There is a mark as -- ECO2E -- on the engine. So I think this is also an ECHO maybe ? Carb. doesnt look very useful(doesnt have 2 needles). On the tap of the tank is written 20 -25:1 oil. ( This must be good as weedeater, so after the conversion I think I should use 50:1 oil.)

Your comments will be welcomed..

Regards.

Zafer

If the partner was painted green, it would be a Poulan, Which I believe is what it is. The Robin is a Fugi engine. EC02 E is 20.3 cc or 1.24 cu. in. A quality engine.

Hi Flypaper,

It is agood news for me, Robin is 21cc.

On the other hand, Partner is not green but Yellow, here is the result (some photos). But I dont know the cc yet. It is only written A2 28387 .on the engine. And also on the flywheel the is made in USA mark. It doesnt look so bad, but I have some work to do for sure..... Do you have any idea about its CC.

Regards.

P.S. looks like I have the same engine Torp has just converted ( see post - doesnt look like it can be converted ). And it is a 32cc. (I was hoping 35cc)

Zafer:
Partner used to be made by pioneer, which is now out of business so it looks like they converted to poulan, Just painted it a different colour. 1.86 cu. in. model M25.

Hi again,

Then some work on the partner saw... Somebody said it is a Poulan 2.0 . It turned out it is being a very good and light engine....

I have to wait till summer to try these engines , I will see if I need CH ignition for those.

Regards.
