Everyone knows that a BB won't stall. Then change into kites sometimes.

Randy, Am currently looking for another Webra myself. About the only place I am seeing them is on Ebay. At least there are several coming through in NIB condition pretty regularly.

Randy, have been looking at that TT .36 Pro also but would like to know about them from someone that has run them. Have a Q500 plane that I am trying to learn how to fly without massive shaking of my extremities! The Evo .36 that came on it is a waste!

pappy, i have only had one TT36 pro so far and it was on a sonic kit. it did a good job on it but i was not looking for all out speed then. i have talked to a few guy that have flown them and the reports are good. after talking to several people i have ordered the TT 39 Heli engine for my pride & joy, it should get a couple k more rpm. i mrmory serves the 38 turned a 9-6 apc around 18000 with a header and pipe but it was a while ago so i could be off a few rpm.
when i get the 39 heli installed and running i will let you know how it does.

I know .I know flip your radio to heli mode. that's the trick randy uses to hover his plane. so let's asume it will work for a heli motor.

Well, in the mean time I found a pristine Rossi .40 with the firewall mount so I am set. Still interested in how the .39 will arrive though.

HI all, got to fly last sunday and for the most part it was good. I took my Mayhem 'cause she hadn't flown in a while. It died after a touch and go and was able to get it back within three feet of the runway. She set down and then nosed over tearing out the gear block and bending my TT spinner. When I got to it I saw what did the damage. Kids have been riding their dirt bikes around the edge of the field and caused a five inch deep rut. The wheels caught it it and ripped the gear out. Oh well, I can't say anything because the it's the owners kids and we get to mow our field and use it for free.

On an other note. Has anyone checked out page 112 of Model Aviation? There's an add for EastR/C.org. They say Jerry Smith's spoiler is coming in ARF and RTF models. Here's the URL,,,, http://www.eastrc.org/shop.cgi/page=projects.htm/SID=1194713083.24951

I can't wait for the Spoiler Arf to come out. I'm saving up my pennies.

On the Balsa Nova. I got the engine running pretty good with the Perry Pump and stock carb but I wanted a Perry carb. I got the Perry carb installed. The instructions say to adjust the idle nixture 1000'th of an inch. They Aren't Kidding! There's 1/8 inch either direction from center to adjust. Anything out of that is too much. Then once it's running pretty good even touching the idle mixture knob can mess it all up. I didn't get to fly it yet with the new carb, maybe tomorrow.

Sure, send me the name of the shop and ph# and the p/n's to convert the engine. Did it come with the huge heli head on it? What muffler or pipe did it come with? Last but not least what kind of price?

happy pappy, the shop is Flying Z Hobbies 270-521-9001. they know the #'s for the thrush washer, drive washer, and engine. that all came to 137.50 and they should have the header and pipie combos for around 35.00 i think. the engine does have the big heli head.

i ran mine today on 25% nitro with a 9-6 apc prop and got 17400 rpm's. i hope to get that up a few more rpms when the engine is broken in better and i have the pipe adjusted better.
be sure to tell Jim or Tina that you want the engine like they sold randy canter

happy pappy, i finally had a chance to try the 8-8 APC prop on 30% heli fuel and it turned 18400 on the ground and looks like it's hauling a$$ in the air. we didn't have the radar gun with us but hope to get a true speed reading soon.

and for all of the big boy thread regulars i hope you have a great holiday with friends and family and that every one you love gives you the bird...i mean some turkey .
