doug, give tim g a call. he goes to JP on saturday mornings and hangs out a lot so he could pick one up for you maybe. i like the Xoars and the Menz. the Menz will spoal faster than the Xoar due to being shorter( a 18-6 is not 18"s ). when we get together again doug i will let you try my Menz 27-10 on your extra, i think you will like it better on the heavier plane.

Doug,

I'm running a Menz 17x6 on my AX 120 with beer can exhaust on my JBB Fast spool up time. If you want a really fast spool up, drop down to a 16x6 Menz....You do loose a little bit of braking effect with that prop though. Both props beat the APC's IMO. Never tried a Xoar on the AX120, but normally the Xoar puts a bit more of a load on than the other brand of props...

why did the last several post get deleted? it was all clean and polite. there are no more big boys on the market but those of us that love to fly them still like using this thread as a place to get together and still help each other from time to time if it's ok.

Nothing serious but, I too have noticed a post getting deleted from time to time. I think the moderators don't realize that a Spoiler is really a new and improved Big Boy. Maybe we should consider starting a new thread and name it Spoiler and spoiler related aircraft/conversation.

What does everbody think?

A spoiler thread would be cool as long as THIS forum stays open or easily retrieved. Too much good info for reference to lose.
Besides the speed guys keep stuff about the Patriot ( not Patriot XL) going and how long has that plane been unavailable? I just finished my JBB about a week ago and this thread helped alot ( Thanks Guys ). I am getting a spoiler as soon as they are available and a couple of you guys check 'em out.

should we call the new thread the spoiler/bigboy freinds and family? then maybe we can talk about other things too.

I wanted to put a few of those pics up here, but in all honesty I thought they would just get deleted, so I just sent them to Randy and a few other locals.

Keith,

Here's a few pics of how we officially kicked of the 08 flying season. What better way than to grill some homemade sausage for lunch, and get in a little flying on a nice 60 degree sunny day with your flying buddies!
